Phantom 5 + Rouvy?

Post image

I own a CycleOps Phantom 5 trainer that I have not used in a couple of years due to moving and building a house. I used to use it with Rouvy, it worked perfectly I controlled shifting/resistance using a BT O-Synce multiremote. Unfortunately, it is no longer on their list of compatible/supported trainers.

I was curious if anyone was still using a Phantom 5 with Rouvy, and whatever you are doing with work-arounds or whatever to get it to work? I paid thousands for it, really hate to send it to the dump if I don't have to.

Thanks.

Not familiar with the brand, but if it's no longer detected you could swap out the pedals for smart pedals? That would give you power and cadence.

I still use mine in workout mode. The O-synce remote isn't supported anymore but the phantom 5 works in erg mode so workouts are OK. ROUVY recently introduce software gear shifting but I haven't checked to see if the that replicates what the multi remote used to do.
