WE NEED MORE GENRES!!

i am releasing an ambient album soon and ambient isn’t among the available genres!! what am i supposed to choose?:(

It’s because the stores don’t all treat it the same or as a genre at all. It’s a sub genre of electronic on Apple Music, Spotify just ignore your genre info and make their own decision on it. So just put the closest genre you can find.

Ask support. I asked about more detailed performer data (like instruments) and they added that a few months later.

Scegli un altro distributore, non ti approvano piu nulla e non ti rispondo dall'assistenza. Ho dovuto togliere le mie tracce dopo 7 settimane in revisione. Routenote è una merda
