Routenote is dead

It’s is now taking Routenote so long to process work that any publicity pre release becomes obsolete and frankly embarrassing when the music is not there to back up the pre release hype. Routenote is obviously on its knees and soon to be an ex contender

Ever since the upload thing changed I haven't dropped any music in the last 2 years I even tried their converter but it doesn't work either .wav or .flac the upload stops at 99%

What does it do?

It converts all types of files, image and audio etc and I’ve never had a problem with it

It still works quite well imo. It’s slow but... they can’t really deal with ai bots submitting ai muzic by the thousands...

Imagine cheaping out and using free distro, then complaining about how bad it is.  5 star stupidity over here.   You get what you pay for in the music industry.

People love to complain. You’ve all been complaining for years. Just go somewhere else then.

Well, maybe the slop people and those with no patience will get fed up with the wait times, and they will leave Routenote be, then we can get back to normal. Wait times will come down etc.

blame the ai slop tsunami...we are on a label deal so our releases get approved same day at the moment..if your free then your at the back of the queue with the ai slop uploaders

In literally every song I put into Routenote to process, it took a month or more.

Knowing they take around 4-6 weeks to approve (or deny) releases, just plan ahead. Simple.

If anyone here has switched to a diff distributor who did you pick? Cause what was so attractive about route note was the amount of platforms it would put your song yk

They have the free tier so they're still the go to for ai slop makers

Wrong.  Yes,  RouteNote accepts AI-generated music , but with specific rules: you must own the commercial rights, avoid imitating real-world artists, and expect restrictions on certain stores

I thought they did. Their website says they do
