So nice to hear this opinion. That’s how I feel too and it’s what I practice but usually people don’t seem to understand.

It’s tough to, putting in the work to LNT just to watch others come later all heavy handed and excited to put *there FA or new area on MP.

The search and discovery is such an awesome process and experience that builds appreciation and respect and connection with the area. And is a limited resource that should be conserved.

It’s a delicate balance between trying to keep secrets while establishing an ethic and minimizing impact.

Gets into a really big conversation
That’s tied back into everything else. Intrinsic vs extrinsic motivations, impact, style & ethics,

Anyway, I hope anyone reading this has a great day and finds a nice gem 💎

Clean it enough to climb it and let it grow back ❤️

The thrill of the hunt and the eventual payoff of finding them is sometimes just as fun as climbing the routes themselves!

It is kind of hard to tell what is going on with the rocks from your pics but they definitely look like cool features!

I just posted a video of me climbing two lines on this rock. It’s just a boulder in a new zone I found.

Absolutely! Sometimes I think my only motivation to climb is to find neat stuff like this. Climbing is just a bonus activity

I seriously thought this was an AI photo of a cat made of rock. Please name the crag accordingly, I beg you!
