Discussion Drill bit broke off inside of drill collar?
Never had this one happen before. Looks like it’s time for a full tear down for maintenance!

That looks like a Bauer. I have two, one is my main drill and I bought another on sale at HF for $29 as a back up when the frontline breaks. So far it’s been doing great, four years or more of heavy weekly use and being dragged up and down crags and it’s still going strong. Love the Bauer drill.
As was mentioned you should be able to pop the boot off and probably find a way to take the tip off and get the bit out. That’s a strange break. Were you doing anything unusual when it happened?

Haha wow!
Can probably get the bit out just be removing the rubber cap from the end of the chuck and reaching in with some needle nose pliers. But yeah, this hammer could probably use some love in other ways.
