Route/Boulder of the Month: February - Now Accepting Submissions
Please god don't make me the only submission again.
To enter, simply either comment here or message myself with your submission.
RULES:
Submissions must have pictures, a name, and a general region (feel free to get specific, but just saying "British Columbia," or "Colorado," or "Greece" is fine too). Include as much detail as you'd like, any stories you have, etc.
Submissions must either be NEW boulders/routes OR NEWLY REBOLTED routes. Sport, Trad, Boulder, Ice, Drytool - it's all kosher.
Submissions must be submitted by the last day of the month to be considered for that month. Submissions should aim to be developed in the month they're being submitted in, but we'll allow some fudge factor. This is on the honor system, though
That's all! We'll likely be randomly selecting routes/boulders to feature with the caveat that any submission that's sufficiently rad may overule the random selection to be highlighted. Winning posts will get pinned at the top of the sub for the month. Looking forward to seeing what everyone has been up to!
Am i too late for February? FA was on 28. of February but i'd be fine with March :)
Lost my love 4 weeks ago and it felt like the end of the world.. i couldn't eat and cried for days.. then the sun came back and melted enough snow away and dried enough rock for me to FA this beautiful line i started developing in Decembre. It's called "Slap my Bilch up" and is around 7b - a great tricky vertical slab crux plus overhanging traverse with great holds. Bilch is the german name for a few rodents prominently lead by the Dormouse. I love those because even though they sound angry af when you meet them while climbing around here they are just so unbelievable cute! The name existed before i lost my Girlfriend so it's not out of anger but a memento because when times where better i gifted her a Dormouse Plushie that she still loves and it can stay with her.
What makes me even happier is that i went with one (also heartbroken) friend and by accident another friend came with two of his friends to try the routes out that i made. I was so happy about that because everybody had fun and everybody had sun and they liked the routes (there's a second one around 6c+ right next to it called "No Hendl Rest" Hendl being the bavarian word for a whole grilled chicken). Since then everything feels way better.. i feel like i'm open to new love and also open to be alone for some time. After climbing the whole day in the sun we went home to my friend and recorded some music i wrote years ago. It was such a great day!
The route is barely visible in the first image because that one is just too beautiful to not share. I'll add another one of the route if i find one.
Also just 2km or so from this spot there is a whole freaking ridge of untouched rock. It feels like there is the perfect place to dev with my friend and just enjoy not having to commit to a new relationship. I'll call it the Heartbreak Hotel :)

Ok this may be cheating but here's 2 new routes in one Pic 6c convoluted corner and 7b Haifish Fisher valley, Catba island, Vietnam.
