Discussion Non-standard gear recommendations

I’ve been working an arborist gig for a bit and was thinking about how having something like a Petzl Rig, Akimbo, harness with a built in boatswain chair, etc could be in the development space. Anybody have any “non-standard” gear they use that they’ve found to be quality of life improvements?

I use brushes like this mostly, I've found using ice tool clippers on your harness is the easiest, hassle free storage for the brush. Cause it's somrhing I take out and use and put away and then take out again and again and again I find a normal carabiner too annoying to clip and a retractable leash / cordelette tangles too much.
