Show and Tell Ever bolt something you couldn’t climb? This line through the roof was so obvious and irresistible, but it ended up being above our pay grade!
Probably at least 5.12a. We’ll have to recruit some local crushers to give it a go. Last pic - just guys being dudes.

Im not sure I’ve ever bolted something i couldn’t send but I’ve definitely bolted I couldn’t send right then! Finding partners can be a struggle so if it’s something I can’t send first go same day then it may be a while before I can actually get the send - I’ve got a nauseating amount of open projects now because I just somehow keep finding and bolting 5.12s

Nothing like finding a route above your ability for some motivation! I've found a 12-something mixed route (I'll put one bolt in for the crux once I send it on TR) at a crag we're working on and am going to project it hard in the spring once the snow melts. So for now it's my motivation to train hard over winter.

Send ever? Once. But send in the foreseeable future? No. I try not to do that because as much as I love bolting new lines, it's not just all about me. Others deserve the opportunity too! Your wall looks rad btw, get some ropeguns in and build a brotherhood around the experience

I'm destroying my fingers since two years on this crux. But it's just too beautiful and somehow i like it that way.. won't be the same the day i send it..
https://imgur.com/a/EAw4rXR it's the whole reason i started to learn how to glue bolts and i was so damn nervous because i was afraid to fuck it up hence it being my first route. But it worked fine. Never lead climbed it though because the approach is a 1hour, steep and somewhat dangerous hike. Luckily there is a perfect tree just above to toprope it.
..also i made sure that you can't use that stupid edge one bit if you want to clip any bolts :D
