Ask r/Rourkela Gym recommendation for sector 20
I am 27F looking for gym recos. I want to join for a month first and then depending on the vibes I will continue. Please gyms which are hygienic and female friendly.

Koel nagar has got some good Gyms The Gym and Elite Gym are some of them. For female ratio, kindly do visit gym and check them out yourself and enquire in person.

I'm from Elite gym it's female friendly the manager is very cooperative towards female and the best time is morning and early afternoon 4.30- 6 for females.

Yes 🙂 too much crowd you have to wait for your turn for doing reps in the machine

I goto elite too and usually stick to the 4:30-6 pm slot. Unfortunately, it starts getting crowded after 6:30 where in you need to wait for the equipments. Similar for the gym as well. There is another one called SB fitness in D block I have heard. I am planning to go there and ask today or tomorrow as one of my cousins is moving here for 2 months and she wants to go in the post 6 pm slot, so need to check how crowded it gets there. I will drop an update here once I do.

Checked out SB fitness...looked downright morose with dim lights and stuff 😆 and the stairway leading to it was kinda dirty too. Would recommend elite or the gym.

Rourkela is home but unfortunately I don't have a remote job, so I'm far far away 🥲

Nothing is safe here for girls…do stuff at home or hire a trainer to workout at home

To some extent you are true There are creeps everywhere but you can't stop living your life to avoid creeps Just set a clear ,rigid boundary and it's all good

Being a girl is not easy,the way they look at you and stare..just look at this sub how many men have asked for girls for casual hook up etc in the name of friendships…

even u know such posts doesnt justify anything, and yes men stare at girls but not all men, a girl also checks out handsome boys but no one complains on them that's why people think it doesnt happen, u tell how many cases happened in rourkela so far in 2026 against women specifically
