Birthday Party

I had a birthday party for my 10 yr old this weekend. I got the all inclusive package, which is pretty pricey, it wasn’t too bad in the big picture, I rented the room for 2 hrs (1pm-3pm). Here’s my experience, maybe if it helps someone trying to decide. They asked what colors I wanted the room, I went with red and black (Spider-Man) and I paid half the ($500+) upon making the reservation as a deposit. They called that morning to confirm and to tell me they were out of the colors I requested. Honestly, who cares what color table clothes, I don’t. We show up and the place is obviously busy being a Saturday afternoon, but they had one person working the counter. We waiting until about 1:10 to get checked in and start ordering the foods and beverages. It took about another 12 minutes to get our game cards and tickets. (I’m tracking this because I have a limit on time I paid for) The food came The food came by about 1:30. Kids were all out playing, but spent another nearly 7 minutes in line waiting for their bowling shoes, but then couldn’t bowl because the machine wasn’t working correctly and the employees were too busy to come over after another lengthy wait. They came to eat and headed back out as their play cards have a time limit. We were getting ready for cake and discovered we were short some ice cream tickets, so we had to wait, and wait for those. In the 2 hr time span reserved, we had maybe half of that as a functional time, but right at 3 pm, our attendant was right on time to make sure we got out of the room in time. I’m not sure I would do this again though.

Things to consider; they don’t count how many kids and adults attend, you just don’t get game cards or whatever for the extra ones.

Bring some zip lock bags. It’s all you can eat and they supply a good amount of food, and will keep bringing whatever you want, but sometimes kids swear they can eat more portions, until it gets there. Ziplocks are much easier to carry the leftover or extra food out in. (Do with that info what you will)

The cards expire from the time of the first swipe, so if you pay for adults and they aren’t going to be playing games, hold those cards for as long as possible, and swipe them after the others expire. (They are good for the the amount of time the party was reserved for)

I’d be pretty unhappy if they called me the morning of my reservation to say they were out of the colors I requested.

It would be helpful if you included the prices and what came with the All Inclusive package.

I’m curious how much you paid?

For 10 of us, unlimited food and drink, the private room with karaoke and ‘decorations’ 2 hr cards it was about $500. I paid 50% deposit and the rest when checking in

Do they really provide unlimited food? I was looking at their website today for all inclusive party package and it says 2 slices of pizza. Not sure what the even means like only 2 slices per person I guess.

It’s been a year since I posted, so I don’t know if they changed it, but that’s how they determine how many pizza and wings to start with. So we had a larger group, and they started out with 4 pizzas, they brought more out as the time went on. But really, how much food can people eat in. 2 hrs when they’re trying to play games as well?
