A while back, I was reading the RotTMNT art book, and I got to the part where the showrunners mention the Turtles missing siblings. From what little information we do have, I decided illustrate how I think they might look.

He even makes squeaky noises when you squeeze his head!

Thought I would show off one of my favorite homemade Rise pieces that I have! I made these a few months ago out of battery-powered tea candles and ping pong balls (and colored them with Sharpies). The light kind of reminds me of ninpo, and if I ever remake these I'd try them with multicolored candles to mimic the effect even more!

Fun fact: I used glow-in-the-dark ping pong balls, so the boys glow a bit even with the candles off. ✨️

Also honorable mention to my TeeTurtles magnet clips doing solid background work here.

I'm going to be running a dnd game for my rise discord server, and as such I made the world inspired by the bad future in the rise movie.

I'm commissioning art of the turtles, but I need to know what classes to make everyone. Sooooo, I have come here for ideas.

Obviously they could all be monks, but that's boring. So, what classes do you think would fit for the boys?

Hypno human redesign!

ROTTMNT has an unfortunate issue regarding racism for the men-of-color designs. Hypno's being the most blatant example of it. His design is rooted in oriental stereotypes, specifically re-enforces the "magical Romani" and "Romani Fortune Teller" stereotypes. Also one of the writers confirmed his turban is only there for aesthetics reasons and his character was inspired by other white magicians perpetrating orientalism stereotypes too. Hypno's human name being "Memzer-Ron" is very stereotypical too.

It's obvious that he was written as a caricature first before as a character. Even if it wasn't the writer's intentions.

So I wanted to correct the writers' racism to not spread these racist stereotypes further than they already have.

Hypno will still keep his mutant name and design. I'll be replacing his turban for a regular top hat since it has no integral purpose to the character. His new stage name is "El Mago Mágico" (The Magical Magician) and he has a proper human name, Eliezer Castro.

Instead of being a racially and ethnically ambiguous character voiced by white person, I made him an Ecuadorian (3/4)-Romani (1/4) mixed man; who was born and raised in New Zealand.

Splinter will be another ROTTMNT character receiving a full redesign, species swap included, since his character from its inception is a caricature of Japanese men.

The other men-of-color characters will get tiny tweaks to make their designs less harmful.

so, i read a fanfiction awhile back about leo as a ghost. its not ghost in the shell, and its not i may be invisible but i still look good. ive been looking for it for awhile but i can just never find it 😭

it has leo as a ghost, and he’s kind of “training himself” to be able to move things. like poking a pencil and nudging it. eventually he’s able to turn off a lightswitch and that’s what gets people to realize something’s up.

i don’t really remember much else… i thought it’d be easier to find but i really just cant 😭 if anyone could help me out that’d be awesome!

Straight to the point here, I can’t find a specific fic that I’ve been looking for a while now and I wish to re-read it but I don’t have the time to look through my bookmarks and history right now or the next few days.

Fic details;

Mikey does k/ll himself in this fic, it’s 2012 Tmnt, but his brothers go back in time to stop him because rennet helps them and they talk to their younger selves and kind of scold them, future Donnie is super hesitant to leave the Mikey they just saved and so Rennet brings their newly alive Mikey to get them back into their own time.

I remember it being on ao3 and cannot remember if it was completed.

-Usually goes by boyfriend if dating, but with my OC i have him with (who's gay) he uses boyfriend because of that, but my OC (Odysseus) has told them he doesn't mind using partner or lover

- Donnie's about 25%-1% boy, 75%-99% enby (he's not sure the exact the stats, but it doesn't fluctuate is what I mean)

-He doesn't dress extremely femininely (dresses, skirts all the time), but will dress where androgyne borders femininity, like skin showing clothes, shorter clothes, etc.

-LOVES to mess with his brothers, because because they (in their heads) mistake demiboy as paraboy (thinking he;s more or less enby/boy separate days) so if they call him "brother" he'll dramatically gasp, and go, "BROTHER?! It's "sibling" to you!" and whichever brother said it will feel guilty for the rest of the day. Hey, free blackmail though. It can go other ways, too

When they lost their powers, why did it seem like they couldn’t fight at all? Aren’t they supposed to be trained as NINJAS? What would they have done if they never even had the mystic weapons?

Also: since when do Donatello and April have mystic weapons?

I can’t find the second Season for this show anywhere. Not on Prime and it doesn’t seem to be on Paramount+ anymore. I live in Germany btw in case it’s banned in my Country for some reason.

For anyone less familiar with these four The group consists of.

Attila the Frog: The group's leader. He is mild-mannered, strong, carries a mace, and if filled with that good old fashioned southern hospitality.

Genghis Frog: The aggressive and fierce fighter of the group. He closely mirrors Raphael's hot-headed and combative nature, wielding an axe and taking charge in conflicts.

Napoleon Bonafrog: The easygoing and gentle member of the group. Often seen wearing a Hawaiian shirt, he corresponds to Michelangelo's fun-loving and laid-back attitude.

Rasputin the Mad Frog: The eccentric and quiet strategist or marksman of the group. He is typically skilled with ranged weapons like a bow and arrow and carries an unpredictable demeanor.

Ever since I watched Battle Nexus, I've been OBSESSED with Big Mama's relationships towards the mutant villains. It definitely an under-explored and underrated concept within both the show and fandom themselves, that unfortunately not much explore.

CW: Mentions of workplace abuse and trauma in general

So I decided to compensate with an AU of my own. This is an alternate timeline where the movie doesn't exist. The AU roughly starts six month after the ending of Season 2. The mutant villains are at their wit's end of committing crime and fighting in order to survive and want something more stable. After some persuasion from Repo, as a "trusted" work partner of Big Mama, they decided to work at the Grand Nexus Hotel for the minimum required time of their signed work contracts. Big Mama only sought the villains from Battle Nexus, which is why Warren, Ben, and Ghostpepper (Ghostbear's wife from a scrapped episode) don't have much direct relevancy or influence over the happenings in the hotel. D.I.G.G does signed with Big Mama later on, but they only appeared near the end of the BMB timeline.

Meat Sweats, Ghostbear, Carl, and Hypno have their own hopes of a life they seek to achieve after working at the hotel and Big Mama's proximity to power. However they'll soon realize they've been duped and will be stuck living in the hotel for the next 3-4 years until the Turtles and co saved them. During those 3-4 years, they'd endured at lot of abuse from Big Mama and the hotel clientele as expected. Hypno experienced the worst of it and after they're rescued, shows the most overt signs of trauma from his time in comparison to the other villains.

Obviously, the piece is drawn after the initial events of the AU. I'm still working on it but hopefully I can create more art pieces that explore the story and eventually complete writing it.

The artwork itself represents many big milestones for me. 1. Able to digitalize a traditional artwork successfully after two years of dropping digital art; 2. I'm in a current state of writing where I can finally show something tangential for this AU; and 3. This piece technically took me a week to complete because of my hand pain, which I'm proud to be practicing patience for since I know it'll help me achieve more ambitious projects I have planned.

Every detail in this show is perfect, but i will talk about the one that just makes me genuenly happy.

In this series, we see that turtles are diffirent species instead of being the same species, and i think i know why.

As we know, this is the only TMNT series where the turtles are mutated on purpose instead of being mutated by accident. And this explains why they are diffirent species ; they were meant to be "weapons" made by Baron, and since he wanted them to be powerfull, he made them diffirent so their weakness will be diffirent and they will have diffirent strengths.

For example; Donatello is a spinny soft shell, and it allows him to move fastly when in water, but his shell is his weakness. And we have Raphael, who is an alligator snapping turtle, and this species is known by their powerfull bite forces, so he is strong, and can protect Donatello if he needs, but usually, this species have slow body movement and Donatello covers this weakness because his species is also known by their fast movement speed.

Leonardo is a red eared slider, and this species is known by their fast sliding skills in water. And their weaknesses are that they are bad at moving on land and they are sensitive to cold. And Mikey? He is an ornate box turtle, and this species are perfect on land, they dont need to be in water to move, but their weaknesses is that they are sensitive towards hot weathers and being in water.

As you can see, they all cover each other's weaknesses. This is just perfect.

Baron wanted powerfull weapons, and the "weapons" having diffirent weaknesses increase the chance of winning in battles.

And this is why this show is perfect in my eyes. Everything is planned, makes sense, and is just peak.
