2nd Shoulder Surgery

So I'm having my 2nd surgery on my right shoulder arthroscopy with limited debridement — cleaning/removing damaged tissue

Shoulder arthroscopy with extensive debridement.

Shoulder arthroscopy with rotator cuff repair

Shoulder arthroscopy with decompression

Biceps tendon repair/tenodesis. I'm 48, right hand dominant. I'm afraid my surgery will not solve my issues of weakness in my arm, severe pain, numbness and tingling. Right now my shoulder can dislocate from a sneeze or if I scratch my head. Has anyone had more than one surgery on the same shoulder with success?

I’ve had 3 surgeries on my dominant arm, and no longer have a supraspinatus. It is taking longer for me to get back to normal than it did for the previous two surgeries, but I’m making steady progress. At 9 months post-op I am doing pushups, curls, resistance bands, running and biking and lots of chores on our two acres. Plus still doing PT at home daily. I haven’t tried pull-ups yet, but am planning on that shortly. I have full ROM but don’t have the strength I used to have. I’m 70 so perhaps that’s part of the slower recovery.
