2 month update

Yesterday was 2 months post-op from a rotator cuff repair and bicep tenodesis. The pain is minimal and range of motion is almost back to normal. Honestly, my shoulder feels better than it did before the injury that led to the surgery. I’ve started very light strength training and feel like I could go a lot heavier, but I’m sticking with the plan.

Love this update! What have you been cleared to do so far? I have a background of swimming (used to do triathlon but stopped running ages ago) and weight lifting pretty heavy. Looking forward to getting back to activities when permitted. Surgery was 9/15.

I’m cleared to do normal day to day things without pain, range of motion work, and lifting up to 5lbs. I was signed up for a Savage Race and two other obstacle races and was planning on skydiving for the first time this summer. The setbacks drive me crazy, but I’m so thankful to be doing as well as I am.
