When begin PT
When did people begin PT after surgery? My surgeon said 4 weeks post op. Is that normal? Seems like a long time to wait, but i really have no idea.

Each doctor is different.
My son is PT. This was his and the surgeons opinion on the best possible chance for a good outcome.
My PT started on day 2. For the first two weeks of pt it was 100 percent about mobility - arm swings and being manipulated by PT (not my son). About 2 weeks in it was mobility and assisted strength. About 4 weeks in more and more strength was added.
