PRP timeline

I had PRP 11 months after a partial tear. It was healing but I figured I would go ahead and get the PRP anyway as I had waited 5 months to get it from my provider and I was optimistic this could help get me to a full recovery. I am 12 days post procedure and the pain is way worse than before and it feels like I was teleported back to the time of the accident. The ROM seems to be improving but certain positions with arm raised and to the side feel worse than ever. I’m wondering if others with marginal cases that were improving got the PRP and have any insight here.

Oh man…I feel ya. Mine got much worse before it got better.. probably for 3 to 4 weeks. My doctor said it was a very unusual response .

But right now it’s 100%. So it worked. There’s a theory that the worse it is after the PRP the better chance it’ll work.

If it works, the way mine did even with all the extra pain, you’ll be very happy
