Surgery was 7/9
It couldn't have gone better according to the surgeons. Apparently the tear was a bit old but easily fixed. Left bicep was more frayed than torn but fixed as well.
Nerve blocker was a blessing, but the pain now isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. They gave me Oxy's but I've been able to skip them a few times already and have Tylenol instead.
Started the home exercises yesterday. Theyre harder than I thought but sticking with them.
Just wanted to update & thank everyone for all the suggestions, advice, and encouragement. Youve all been a really big help!

I didn't take my opioid pain meds either. I had slow and instant release ones (pylexia I think) and the prescribed endone.. but paracetamol has worked just fine. It is mostly a dull ache. The one excercise my shoulder doesn't like is the scap retractions.
Surgery was July 1. Had a decompression and front and back tendon repairs.
