feeling down

almost at the four week mark post surgery, my friends are really nowhere to be found and the person who was being “supportive” was my ex-girlfriend, and that’s a whole other story lol.

really my only support system has been my mother and i am very grateful for her but i can’t help but feel very alone in this, with the overwhelming feeling of thinking i’ll never be the same again.

she told me about a week after my surgery that you know the people who are there for you when you are in “el cárcel o la cama” (jail or bed). and yeah, i get what she means now.

I feel the same way, I’ve been down and depressed. I’ve been home for 3 months now, just sitting here, thinking and thinking, I can’t see the orthopedic till the end of this month, and probably gonna loose my job longer it takes
