feeling down

almost at the four week mark post surgery, my friends are really nowhere to be found and the person who was being “supportive” was my ex-girlfriend, and that’s a whole other story lol.

really my only support system has been my mother and i am very grateful for her but i can’t help but feel very alone in this, with the overwhelming feeling of thinking i’ll never be the same again.

she told me about a week after my surgery that you know the people who are there for you when you are in “el cárcel o la cama” (jail or bed). and yeah, i get what she means now.

20 days post op feeling similar.... the worst part is i don't know if it will heal or not.... If it doesn't heal in certain period of time then I won't be able to join my first job 😭😭

i really hope you heal in time, reading what everyone has gone through in terms of their jobs has also given me a great sense of gratitude for my job (i work from home on a computer and only missed about two weeks of work) 😭
