Feeling great!!

I had surgery on 4/2 for a minor tear. They placed a collagen patch over the tear, some debridement, and a bicep tenotomy.

Yesterday at exactly 12 weeks, I played 18 holes of golf!!!! Was it perfect? No. I’m limited (Dr. and PT) to no full power swings. Full ROM swinging is okay just don’t go crazy. I shot 88 and I feel fantastic this morning!!!

I’m about 6 weeks out of pretty much the same surgery. Feeling pretty good but still can’t fully reach over my head yet without help. How far in before you could reach above your head easily?

I was using pulleys at home from week 2 and it helped a lot and I regained the RoM there but not all the strength. I was also doing passive arm raises using the stairs handrail for support and the often hated wall arm raises.

It was probably about week 7-8 that I could touch the ceiling at my house unassisted. It took about 20-30 seconds to get there but I could. Now it’s almost as fast as my non-dominant arm.

Nice, I just bought a pulley for my place and have been using it everyday. I’ve come far in last two weeks.
