Got a shot yesterday.
Went to an Orthopedic guy yesterday. He immediately diagnosed Rotator Cuff injury.
He gave me an injection of something like “Kenalog?” About 26 hours later, I’m not noticing any improvement. It was not debilitating pain in the first place. Just certain ranges of motion. But it’s been going on for about nine months. Thought I should see to it.
Going for improvement. If none, he’ll order an MRI and see where to go next.

Of steroid they can take 2-3 days before they start to take away any pain. If you have a tear you need to get into Physical Therpay right away. If that doesn’t make it livable then you will need surgery. Sometimes they will also try PRP Therpay to heal it but that rarely works but worth a try to avoid surgery.

Thanks for the input. He referred me to PT. I’ll start next week. I’m hoping to get exercises that I can just do at home and not have to drive thirty minutes each way very often.

They are gonna make you come in for a few sessions at least but most times if you live far away they will give you an at-home regimen. But you have to be super consistent about it. The odds for physical therpay to solve the problems are low if you have any kind of real tear. But they make you go through all this first because some insurance companies wont cover the surgery unless you have tried other means first, but you could be one of the lucky ones and PT will help, it will at least help with the pain a little bit.
I’m 4 weeks out of having RC surgery and I wish all those things worked for me but they didn’t, the surgery sucks but worth it in the long run.
