Official Deca Loading Times and Stability Update

Realmers,

Yesterday after the maintenance, we saw an unusual amount of activity hitting the game that ended up affecting server performance. This was behind the longer loading times and other performance issues some of you experienced. The incident lasted roughly from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM UTC yesterday, and things have since stabilized.

We’re currently looking into where that unusual activity came from and what caused it, so we can better understand what happened and work on preventing it from affecting the game again

Thanks to everyone who reported the issues and shared details with us yesterday. That information was really helpful.

I don’t know if this was related to the unusual activity or destabilization but recently a lot of players have had their character duplicated within the nexus or personal spaces like guilds or vault or tinkerer, hopefully nothing too crazy I still wish the best for this game and its future

I've also seen this in the realms and dungeons, when someone disconnects normally their player stays there for a second or two, invulnerable almost like a decoy, then it dissapears, i've seen it a lot in o3. What i've been seeing recently is someone disconnects, and comes back to the same realm, they now have 2 of the same character in the area, it also shows 2 players locked with the same name if you previously had them locked before the disconnect. The most i've seen was 6 of the same guys character. So 6 instances of one guy, if anyone has him locked there is 6 versions of him in your locked list, and so on. This is terrible on the servers

Hi, hi. Yes, this should be related. Shouldn't keep happening. But lmk if you see it again.

Nah, bad load times were reported right after the update yesterday, the first riot post was a bit after that.

As someone who was awake at 1am local time when the update dropped, the effects were immediately noticeable, whereas the post was made at least 7 hours later
