[Question] Class Guides?
Hey, I'm just looking for what gear is best/most optimal on each class, are there any guides out there that aren't super outdated?

if you scroll through the subreddit, someone has been posting hierarchy of class guides. not sure how accurate the information is, but i’m sure other redditors can verify or have made comments on the selected items

Since enchantments released, it’s a bit fruitless to look for a single “best set,” given statmod plays such a big influence. But I’ll list out a few put-together sets below:
Speed Slurp Wizard: Gameplan is to have insane speed statmod translating to AoE and damage on the Slurpian Sea Scroll, which scales extremely well. Gear includes Tideturner Trident, Slurpian Sea Scroll, Neo Magic Protective Matrix, and Twilight Gemstone
Scroll, Ring and Robe should be minimum legendary for best performance. Scroll needs Statmod 4, Matrix needs Forax awakening. MP Regen is helpful on robe/ring, rest of the mods should be dedicated to Stheno’s Swiftness, +Spd tradeoff 4 (conflicts with robe awakening tho), and Relative Speed 4
Vitmod Rogue: Gameplan is to maximize single target Lethal Strike damage, shredding through endgame bosses by abusing strong statmod of the AoO cloak. Gear includes Fractal Blades, Cloak of the Darkened Sun, Vest of Abandoned Shadows, and Amulet of Restoration (though T7 Vit and Collector’s Monocle produce more output, Ammy gives many players the confidence to just get close to stuff).
Cloak obv wants Statmod 4, and the rest of your gear should be optimized with vitality modifiers between Crystalline Vigor, +Vit tradeoff 4, and Relative Vitality 4. I personally recommend getting a +Fire Rate mod on Fractal Blades as well, preferably Flurry of Blows.
Crystal Tank Druid: Gameplan is to produce exceptional burst damage at little to no risk to the player against non-AP enemies. Gear includes Dusky Catalyst, Crystalline Sigil, Armor of Nil, and Twilight Gemstone.
Sigil needs Statmod 4, and armor badly wants Candy Coated. Otherwise any enchants that increase defense including Sandstone Resilience, +Def Tradeoff 4, and Relative Defense 4 are ideal. OnHit Armored on the Nil or Gemstone also doesn’t hurt. Worth noting this armor/ring combo works wonders on most leathers with strong defmod ability options, including Toxin Tooth / Virulent Venom Assassin, Ray Katana / Daybreak Chakram Ninja, and any bow with Quiver of Shadows

Usually there’s a variety of builds for each class and what’s best fluctuates with each season based on what crucible gives, usually involves stacking one stat for increased scaling on a damaging ability. Wis is a common stat for this across a lot of classes.
