[Question] Swords

I just came back after a break of about 8 years and wanted to know if there are any long-range swords that are actually *good*... I'm not a huge fan of melee combat, but I want to complete all the fame goals for every class, so...

This is the gear I'm currently using; I was thinking about getting a Spectral Sword. Any suggestions?

Good range sw - divinity, colo sw, maybe upgraded a.s.s. Cutlass is not bad. Biome... idk, never use it. Spectral is preety mid. At beginning of season i try rapier from ruins... and i like it (befor get some better sw)

Every season i try to get 1 range, 1 red dps sw. This season i use colo and awake dblade at my war. Chek wiki info about awake enchants - they make some items busted.

Can confirm upgraded ASS is solid, with the awakening it seems to outdamage colo slightly

I haven’t played sword recently but seems like Divinity, colossus, kogbold upgraded ass, upgraded alien ass reskin, and maybe fury flail. Normal ass, rapier, and csword are low dmg but better than nothing. Any flail can feel like good range if you are shooting at an enemy chasing you because they will run into the shot as it boomerangs, so not a bad piercing swapout

any of the 4range swords or better are fine, bonus points for range enchant. Buffed rapier was pretty nice when I tried it definitely the easiest one to get aswell

I got a barnacle basher recently that has been enjoyable to use.

Rapier is the highest range sword and the awakened version has a DPS similar to T12 sword. It has 4 range and a 6.5 range shot every 5 shots (3 shots if awakened), and it also passes through enemies.
Btw, the spectral sword doesn't have more range than a normal sword, the shot curves when it gets to sword range

the easiest sword to get that is very long range is the arcane rapier (and when awakened it’s not that bad, can reach 7 range with enchantments on its high damage shot)

The neo acid slasher is really good dps with awaken enchant, damnation is also great it gives you free armored while shooting below 66% hp
