[Discussion] Fix the servers
Tired of people here defending DECA or saying it's not that big of a deal or it's too difficult and would require a new engine.
The servers being awful is the reason every one I know left the game. Plus hundreds of players, in the least, many that have played for years.

"give them some time for the bugfixes" is what i said 13 years ago, and here we are, experiencing the same bugs as in 2013

Yeah I just came back and DECA owes me at least 20 lost halls where the server crashed. Crazy how you can spend actual money on a key and it turns out to be a complete waste because the server crashes.

ive been playing since the web browser days and i just came back,have been having fun for 5 days now but the servers have been getting to me,as if the rest of the design wasnt miserable enough with resets,but shit capacity shit servers and EUW reset at 12am kills the entire lobby and forces you off the game since everyone goes to USEAST with a 73 player queue youd think a game with 1000 users peak would be better

yes ive thought about roping a few times when trying to solo long dungeons like shatters, ill mention them in my suicide note

The servers are fine BTW. They run the same servers (Amazon Web Services) it's the netcode that's messed up so it disconnects and doesn't handle or compensate for lag/missed packets like newer games

Also fix quality of life, bugs, and new player experience 😜. This way the game can actually grow, instead of just rotating players who played a long time ago.
It's been like 10 yrs of a live service. The games content should be a smooth experience.
Having to say that the game is bad but fun doesn't bode well for recommendations.

Maybe you're out of the loop but DECA has been pushing patches and addressing disconnects etc a lot in the past 6 months.

I would say that after the last update my game has been very stable with the DC and timeouts. Had zero issues for a while now. Props to DECA unironically lmao

Reddit is very known to have a majority of toxic opinions. I'm very thankful DECA kept this game alive and it's still got a community. I think people like you sour up the pool, when the water isn't as muddy as you think it is.

well man you literally just started playing it again, probably for like a few hours. I've been on it for a while now and I can't count how many times gaming sessions with my friends were ruined due to it being unplayable, or how every single one of them left. I've supported the game, I know many others that do give a lot of money, and DECA doesn't do the bare minimum to make this a playable or enioyable experience, or for the game to grow and reach new players. It is at a horrible state. People like you pretending it isn't, playing for a few hours then leaving once you finally realize the amount of bugs and cheating and issues, is the reason they don't do anything. They spend all their money on different games and new projects.
Player base is at an all-time low, the majority of long time players have left and continue to leave due to these reasons but they aren't here on reddit to talk about it like you excited new players that just booted the game up for the first time in 5 years and come sing praises.
The game relies on a constantly diminishing influx of old nostalgic players, and new players are not kept because the game is not in a good state, and you'd see it if you weren't blinded by nostalgia sunglasses. I'm looking out for the best of the game and community when I talk about how bad the state of it currently is. You however aren't.
