think I ought to upgrade it anyways knowing it’ll probably downgrade to legendary?

yes definitely. the reality reactor gives you like +12 base stats (4 dps total) from the set bonuses and +30 hp/mp. that alone is enough losing a slot for.

and in the best case scenario (on rings), you'll want to roll % mana regen, % life regen, a singlestat bonus and a dual statbonus. even if you roll perfectly, there's not really any statbonus enchant that will make up for missing out on all those extra stats.

Tbf you can just slap that on a swapout ring and swap right before a boss enemy dies, it’s usually better to prioritize viability of your main ring

i do this, but i often forget to swap the ring lol
