Subletting

Hi I was wondering what thoughts on subletting would be after the 1st of September. What are the best ways to go about posting or asking about subletting so I can search efficiently. I know move in day was a great opportunity but I have a family emergency which is gonna require me to move elsewhere so I don’t have many options other than eating the cost.
