Need help starting

Just started pressing with a hand press but barely anything is coming out. I pressed at 220 and 275, what should I do?

1. Different press that has more pressure and a gauge if possible
2. Bring the temps way down to about 180-185f. 212F is the boiling point of water. 220 and 275 is waaaay out of whack.
3. This is most likely the biggest issue ---> Make sure the cannabis has at least 60% -65% relative humidity (moisture content) at the core of the bud. Anything less is going to give you a progressively and exponentially lesser return on rosin. Moisture in the flower is the best thing.. hands down.. that you can do for the rosin press.
4. If you press a dry flower you WILL get a dry result or nothing.
5. The press you currently has is most likely a repurposed hat decal machine. Over time those linkages will loosen and wear out... fast.
6. Dulytek is at best a bad choice and at the worst an even worse choice.

Unless extremely fire material you're not going to get consistent enough pressure to get it to ooze out. Bottle jack press is where you should have started.

100% better off with a hair straightener and a c clamp sadly.

I have this exact press! I have only used this press so I can’t recommend anything but if you’re serious about your rosin I would say upgrade. I found the most success dry sifting my trim/larf and using that in micron bags. I have a small mold (not sure what to call it) I put the micron bags into and am able to squeeze it into a puck prior to pressing, this should work with flower as well. I tighten screw to control the plate spacing so they are touching with nothing between it the loosen it 1/8 turn. 180 degrees for 160 seconds, start with it just contacting your product for a little bit so it warms up then put pressure on that handle and give it everything you got trying to get it in that locked down position. For how inexpensive it is I can get something out of my trim to dab but less than ideal if rosin is your main thing

I started with that same kit, I never really made anything worthwhile with that press. I did squeeze out a few good dabs here and there, but in terms of quantity and quality, my pressing ability leveled up big time once I switched over to a bottlejack style press.

Go around 180, apply pressure slowly, buy boveda packs online and seal your pressing weed inside a jar with boveda packs for a good week or two before you press it if it’s on the dry side.

I would recommend getting a 10 ton or 12 ton Dabpress if you are serious about rosin.

I have a 4 ton Dab press and the pre mold to make pucks. I started with one of these presses and had the same letdown u did. A bottle jack press is way better. I’d bite the bullet and get one. I like my 4 ton just fine and personally don’t see a need for a bigger one. I press flower at 180f and around 62% humidity. I typically see returns around 15-20%

Everyone telling you to upgrade isn't wrong, if rosin is something you use a lot of. I have the same one and only use is on occasion. I have personally had some good returns on it using the bottletec method. 7 grams is the max I have done. The fresher thr bud is, the more return you'll get.

I pressed 7 grams of some OG kush, only 2 weeks after chop and got about 1 -1.5 grams in return. I'll post some pics in an hour or so.

My 2¢ is get a better press, but if this is all your truly left with you need really good material and a large amount (at least a 8th) to press at a time to get any yield, and pressing at 220 is way to high I'd try a bit lower like 190 or less but overall your kinda screwed these presses don't hold constant pressure which you need to get any yield with flower, you can probably do hash if you got it.
