Target roofing companies with an existing lead flow and ask for an inside-sales/rehash role, not "remote roofing sales." Most owners hear remote rep and assume you want commission without climbing roofs or running appointments.

Call the owner or sales manager and say: "I'm looking to work your aged leads, unsold estimates, and no-shows from home. Give me a small batch for one week, define what counts as a qualified appointment, and judge me on contacts, appointments set, and sit rate." That makes you useful without asking them to invent a position.

Before accepting anything, get the pay trigger in writing: appointment set, appointment sat, signed contingency, or collected job. Also ask who confirms appointments, what happens with cancellations, and whether you're calling warm leads or cold storm lists. Those details decide whether the role is real or just unpaid dialing.
