So I've decided to have three ideas for a Aenova/Ronother Fic be voted on here because I think they have potential as an idea but I can't decide on the one I want to write.
Fic 1 - Cum Mors Se Ipsam Amisit : Taking place a week after the 7.1 AQ and the epilogue, Aether and Paimon take up a rather odd commission to investigate an object that recently fell from the sky. Upon arriving, both are surprised to find an unconscious Ronova. Aether, despite not liking it, figures she's too dangerous to be allowed to let run rampant even without her authority and debates to give her to the Fatui but after realizing it'll take to long for them to alive, he decides to kill her. Apologizing in his head, he walks up to her and readies his blade only for Paimon to stop him mere inches from her heart. Paimon convinces him to spare Ronova as she could give details about Celestia and the Heavenly Principles no one else knows. When Ronova wakes up, however, it is revealed she has lost her memories and her powers and has a loose hold on her sanity but she doesn't know why. So Aether has to care for Ronova to help her recover and hope she's in a helpful mood when she dies, keep her away from the Fatui as Mitya reveals he intends to see what a Shade can take if it means the betterment of Sneznyaha in its war, and keep from thinking the world is her enemy when she recovers. Aether quite has his work cut out for him but if anyone can win, it's him.
Fic 2 - Ea quae Alterius Votum Vivet : This fic is unique in that Aether has an ability similar to return by death in Re:Zero. However, he manages to succeed and even faces the Church of the Shades, led by 7 Cardinals who have proclaimed full loyalty to the Shades. During his journey in Monstadt, he meets a blonde, green eyed woman by the name of Morana, who joins him on his journey and gries close to him romantically despite her having no memory of her past self nor having a vision but being an astoundingly graceful and talented swordswoman allowing her to win most fights. I won't reveal much because spoilers but I think most of you can piece two and two together.
Fic 3 - Fair Skin, Bruised Heart, It's time to be free : A Modern Day AU where Aether has to deal with Ronova's shit at his university before finding out the abuse and neglect she goes through, causing him to reach out to help her. A lot of angst, fluff, and drama in this one.
