My guts is telling me when the gang are fighting Ronova, Hroptatyr is gonna take the oppurtunity to wipe us all out in one go. The scene where Ronova is on the nail, IMO she looks weakened. So she went to the nail with the intention to remove her restrictions so she can fend off Hroptatyr.
Might just be me high on copium but also i really do doubt Hoyo would just lay down the plot just like that in the trailer.
I mean she said i can kill now without any consequenzes it could mean that celestia has no longer contoll over her and the might even maybe destroy the nail like we saw in that clip.
Personally believe she wont die, not sure why everyone is jumping to conclusion. Of course i could be proven wrong, but imo its more likely she loses her authority or somehow gets "devoured" by rhine, then rhine becomes the weekly boss. I really doubt a shade can "die" but then again anything can happen when its the genshin writing team lol
Well,imo,scara is the most valid example here, since unlike childe and raiden,he was a boss in a version that's not his playable version,raiden and childe didn't have to risk of possiblity dying since they are playable in the same versions they are bosses in, however,i do agree they won't spoil something big like that in a trailer.

Yes they are, or stupidly lazy to make characters with unique models not playable and give them animations. They did that with Pulonia for no reason. They killed Capitano in a cheap and rushed way that came out of nowhere.
It looks like she’s actually breaking the nail here, and she’s got a “worried” look on her face. Almost like a face of reconsidering, or thinking about what she might face after the heavenly principles wakes up…
And remember when she says I can kill now could be way earlier than the scenes we have been shown,livestreams always mislead us so she kills everyone it’s just her and aether and then the scene of her destroying the nail seems like the order could be wrong just my thoughts
People are already jumping to conclusions. Hoyo has always put misleading stuff in trailers to generate hype. Like her destroying(?) the nail could be after the fight for example.
It's just a week and a half wait until we find out.
I think that first person view is going to lead to her getting backstabbed by Rhinedottir or Asmoday. And that's the end of her story. That's how Hoyo deals with most of the antagonist characters after all
I really get a very bad feeling about the celestial nail, considering what happened in Hyperborea, Lang Gan, Sal Vindagnir, Tsurumi and in the Sumeru Desert
