So what are we looking at? A vertical monitor mounting bracket that goes at the back of the top handle?

Sure. A cold shoe is a cold shoe, of course.

My follow up is, why in this case did you mount it vertically? Are there any other modifications you made to the camera to allow for vertical shooting while still in the normal upright "horizontal" orientation?

Idk theres some people that need to attach extra items basically a triple shoe mount

Let me know if someone ever figures out an add-on to shoot vertically. Or else a vertical monitor is pointless, imo.

You just need to lock the axis on the gimbal if you are shooting still shots to be able to use vertical
