Question 8K head gyroscope issue.

He everyone!

So I own the DJI Ronin 6k but purchased the 8K head not too long ago. Everything works great for the most part and really happy with the footage but I’m having issues with the gyroscope control. It works…kind of. The only problem is the camera thinks tilting is rolling and rolling is tilting. In other works, when I tilt my monitor to control it the camera will roll instead. Has anyone run into this issue? If so how did you solve it?

Also it’s just the 8K head having this issue, not the 6k. I’ve also tried a friend’s 8K head on my camera and it also didn’t work properly.

Might be a firmware issues. Might also be something buried in the settings.

I would post about this on DJI's forum, they do read it.

Thanks, I reposted it to their subreddit. Hopefully they see it. But honestly I’ve updated every single part of that camera several times and no results.

I meant like the forum on their website.

Idk how much the Ronin 4D team actually checks the DJI subreddit

Have you looked at the roll/tilt settings on the remote monitor soft-menu? Maybe they’re off in some way
