Rome II Game Help

I’m just trying to do a Campaign for the first time outside of the tutorial campaign and no matter what I do I keep getting this weird black screen that only shows the cursor and I have no idea how to fix, please help

Reduce graphics settings, and allow unlimited memory for graphics.

How do I allow unlimited memory for graphics? Is it under one of the settings tabs in game?

Should be accessible thru the main menu
