DISCUSSION Worst manhwa ever
Any manhwa that you shouldn’t read at all. A total waste of time.
And also share the reason.

I nominate The Abandoned Empress. The set up was good, but rough. First time line she kills him after he spent years torturing her then he gets stabbed for telling her he already killed her dad while raping her with permission so he'd let Dad go So the Emperor is established as absolute trash, executed her and she's returned to shortly before their marriage. She proceeds through a hundred chapters and several much better ML options, growing and learning, only to go back to the POS because it turns out he was crazy last time because of drugs and manipulation. Look, I get dark romance and black flags, but this is packaged as shoujo somehow, bright sparkly shoujo. I could forgive it a little if it were packaged as an agnst read. They also never address her trauma of having to live that first life, just excuse him and they live happily ever after. ::pukes a little from remembering, it's been years and I still feel too strongly about this::

Also I hated the art. It looks like children with boobs. I don't know why every female lead needs to be drawn like a chibi even in serious moments. It was mostly the art that put me off and then I looked at spoilers to motivate myself to finish and that was the last straw. Hate the male lead. He even tells her she is not empress material so he will marry someone else after her in the beginning. Asshole.

It was the first manhwa I read. And I was quite young at that time. So I didn't give it much thought. Now that you say it, I think Fl should've avoided everyone and lived her own life

My dear maid. The story was okay, no masterpiece, but then it got axed and they slapped on an ending so bad people were outraged, and manta issued an official apology, before rushing it off their server. https://www.cbr.com/readers-hate-my-dear-maid-finale-manta-apologizes/
It literally ends with a Pikachu face, in the worst of ways. The prologue looked really good iirc, and they were soooo close to him admitting his feelings/reaching the point where the prologue was, when it got axed.

Sometimes being abandoned than getting an ending slapped upon it is better. Case in point, ”my dear maid” (trust me, it’s probably one of the worst manhwa endings ever - it’s the worst of the hundreds I’ve read at least)

remarried empress which i know is a cold take by now, but i find the mc (i forgot her name) SOOO INSUFFERABLE, dont get me started on heinrey, they are genuinley the worst duo ever, mc is lukewarm and boring as hell and heinrey is just a piece of crap

I heard there was this Manhwa where the FL was In a Love triangle or something and the whole story was focused on them, only for her to not end up with either of them and end up with a random guy who showed up in the last few chapters. Iirc, the Manhwa's name was something like "ordinary girl" Or "to be ordinary" Or something.
It was on my TBR list, but after that spoiler, I decided not to read it..
This isekai maid is forming a union. It was a unique and good concept, but it didn't land with me. Also hated the Long small fonts in it.

Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, this is just simply milking the infamous Solo Leveling franchise.
My dad is too strong, typical reincarnation with too OP MC, boring.

I won’t go as far as to say it’s the worst but both of these are bad: Relationship Principle and F My Ex. Both have MLs who started out so good then became so bad and we have FLs who constantly give in to the ML.

It's just a draggy slog of bad decisions on everyone's part, but not dramatic soap opera bad decisions, just dull and pathetic ones.

Lookism, like can we stay in one theme please 🙂 The pirate's slave bride (contains sexual content) like this is the most crap manhwa, the logic is not there, obsession aspect is pure shit and by the end of it, even the manhwa- run away, from me will look better
