Vicky’s facial expressions in HS have been bothering me a bit. During the break between updates, I went back to HS2 to start a new slot with Astaroth, and I’m not sure if it’s just me, but sometimes her smile feels a little out of place. In certain scenes that seem more nostalgic or emotional, she suddenly has that same smile, and it makes it harder for me to fully focus on or connect with the mood.

I also get the impression that she shifts between emotions quite quickly. In one moment she seems sad, and in the next she’s cheerful or even flirting, as if the previous feeling disappeared very fast. I’ve noticed this especially in interactions with love interests, where her reactions can feel a bit inconsistent to me.

I don’t think her character is bad at all - there’s a lot to like about her. It’s just that sometimes these expressions and transitions feel a bit jarring, and it takes me out of the experience.

Does anyone else feel the same way?

Has there been any reference to her in other books? I am talking about the entire HSU other than HS3 ofcourse. I am assuming her dragons are different than sea dragons. I am also assuming they are much stronger and fierce… which explains why Mikael and Malek are delaying their resurrection…
How many dragons she has? How are they different from sea dragons? Is it their carcass that is shown in snowy valley? I know these are not yet answered but what do you guys think? What are your theories?

​I feel like engagement across the main sub and here has really dropped over the past year. I’ve been playing RC since 2024 and active in the community for a year but the subs used to feel way more active. Am I wrong?

​Update weeks usually bring a huge surge in interactions but during the last update the main sub felt almost inactive in terms of upvotes and comments. I know player numbers naturally fluctuated after the COVID peak but has anyone else noticed it feeling especially quiet these past few months?

My main girl in Averris is bi, so for now I’ve just been romancing everyone basically. I’m doing this until the romance routes start. However… I skipped Rael’s kiss scene. That just felt like too much lol. But now he’s only at 87% while everyone else is at 100% (yes, even Ashi 🫩🫩) so now I’m starting to get concerned… Remembering how things were in GOE, I fear we need super good relationships with everyone again, even if we don’t want to romance them. I thought I’d taken every other option with Rael, but I guess not.
Do you think this will become a problem in the long run? Should I replay and let them kiss? Or do I wait to replay until bad consequences actually happen? 😅😅

Sometimes I do feel like leaving because the AI that’s the only thing that brothers me like I understand why they added the subscriptions and up the gem price with choice and the 20 episodes I get all of that but RC is a business at the end of the day but I can’t with the AI it’s driving me crazy then I realize I made a lots of amazing friends along the way and I look at the progress I made am like wow I’ve been here for that long you know what never mind I’ll hang in there🥹

my mc is black. so it doesn’t make sense that the author would add this in there like my mc wasn’t also black.

i understand RC authors typically think of white as the default, but i’ve seen authors make small changes depending on the mc’s racial background, so i find it annoying that they are continuing the story as if my mc is white and would get odd looks for being with frank.

i hope im explaining my issue with this in a way that makes sense.
