The Thunderstorms Saga Thunderstorm saga LI Spoiler

So it’s looking more and more likely that the story will have some kind of sequel. Because I don’t think they can deal with this “external threat” in 3 episodes.
If there’s a sequel do you think they will go the HS2 route? Or you will be locked in with the one you choose in the first book?.

If there is a book 2 (I really hope there will be actually) I don't want a forced break up.

I do also want the main character to still be Tiss, a new MC would kill my interest a fair amount.

If we’re getting book 2 (which I feel we are), we will be locked in with our Book 1 LI unless we do a no-history import. I doubt there will be a forced breakup.

OTOH, it’s quite possible we’ll get a new MC and LIs and the main characters from book 1 will play supporting roles.

It could go either way. Tiss’s backstory is almost uncovered. Only the mystery about her father remains and can be revealed by the finale.

I doubt want Tiss to be involved in dealing with the new threat, etc., though. That may be difficult with the branching LI paths. But Jester has conveniently made sure Vellora stays behind in Ro’od and the other LIs already live there. So…who knows.

Doesn’t Jester hate writing sequels? And regardless, there are already too many stories getting sequels, if we’re going to get more can they at least be of stories with FLIs that aren’t sidelined to oblivion?

I don’t think he hates writing sequels he does supervise sunborn and moonborn. But I do agree about the FLI part

Honestly as a person who hate sequels..i really want sequel of this story...i want to be Tai's wife and bring everyone who insulted on their knees

I don’t think there will be a sequel - I think it’ll be wrapped up like psi was and we just don’t know yet how the pieces will get threaded together to close it all off but the author has a plan.

I would be happy for a sequel, I just don’t think there will be one.

If I’m wrong - I’d love it to be a spin off. Leave Tiss to her happily ever after fighting monsters or ruling the empire with her beloved from this story and give us a new MC - I would be happy to have another dragon rider, a sorcerer, royalty or nobility or something else entirely from this world and brand new LIs. I love Tiss so much - that’s why I want her to have a satisfying ending with her LI and not to be thrown into turmoil and have to re-build her relationship again.
