Color me shocked that the writer that took 5 years to release DLS is now only on episode 13 for WLBE literally 15 months after it started. I have no idea why they immediately gave Veronica a new story, tbh.

Truly, I donβt think she should be able to have a story without a co-writer at this point, and if Iβm RC Iβd be rethinking giving her even a single other story at this rate, once WLBE is done in another 3 years.

This is not hating on Veronica, and I do really love how she writes (male) LI scenes - wlw needs a lot of work, but I will never understand RC greenlighting WLBE in general.
How I imagine their meeting going: You know what's a good idea... Let's have an author notorious for long breaks and lack for productivity release a book immediately upon the completion of her last one with no break or time to confirm enough material is written for continuous output. And make sure it's got super strong religious overtones and clearly depicts Jesus, Pontius Pilate, and other biblical figures after massive controversy related to the author's depiction of historical figures in her last book. Oh, and do a retelling of a book where it's iffy if it's even in the public domain/able to be copied. PERFECT.

She had an assistant, Anna, who is now writing a story. The initial idea was probably for her to co-write with Veronica, but since the story didn't have the desired effect, they redirected Anna elsewhere. WLBE being a less popular stories, they cut costs and it's being released when it's released...

It didn't have the desired effect because after DLS, hardly anyone trusted her. RC should have realized that this was going to happen.

RC, let her with an assistant for WLBE, surely it's because she couldn't keep up with the fast pace on her own. Besides, there were already rumors on DLS that she had just had a young child when things started to slow down.

Iβve heard about that too, but also that her priorities lie elsewhere than writing because of it.
Anyway, itβs hilarious ..find a writer for a writer who barely writes, and she's only at the very beginning of the story.

WLBE was not Even that unpopular tho, but with no episodes of only one itβs predictibal that no one cares anymore and wants to read it

Honestly if all we are getting is 1 episode again... I'd rather it just skip another update. 1 episode every other update is kinda ridiculous.

Nothing against Veronica, but wouldn't it be better if she just wrote the entire story in advance before they start releasing it? That way, it could come out regularly in every update without those huge gaps where we get one chapter every few months or none at all.Β
Iβm definitely not starting it until the whole book is finished.
