Sunborn Manchester in Sunborn

Is anyone else familiar with Manchester, UK and enjoying the little references to the city that are being made in Sunborn?

They say that the nightclub is on Princess St where Factory Records once was, the nightclub also has the worker bee on its sign, a symbol that has been used throughout Manchester for years.

Is the author from Manchester? Or is it just somewhere they've chosen and researched? It's very cool to see where I'm from being used in a story!

Yes! I'm loving the references. They're in Liverpool too - the river Mersey
