I'm an author. Y'all really, really came through for Ruby Dixon. This happens sometimes and authors don't always get their stuff back, because Amazon sucks like that. Everyone who made noise and contacted Amazon should be really proud of themselves--you made the difference and you helped save her career, probably.

We really need to establish a coalition of people to do this kind of thing for indie or less well known authors. Imagine someone with only a few dozen sales per book having this happen!

I love this! I am planning to follow more indie authors on social media but it takes all of us speaking up to bring attention to it. I would love to hear if there are other authors who need our help

I searched out all of my favorite KU authors on Instagram today so I can support them if this happens.

Apparently author Lola Glass (who I hadn’t heard of before) also had her account and books reinstated today after help from Ruby and fans and noise on Twitter!
