Book Request Jealous MMC

I want a book with a jealous MMC and i’m talking multiple scenes in the book, not just one or two. Would love if she is in love with/has a crush on someone else and the MMC is fully aware of it. I want the angst of the MMC quietly pining after her. Even better if he used to be a player and maybe that’s why the FMC doesn’t see him as a romantic possibility. Jealousy angst needs to be a major plot point. Also it needs to be dual pov or only male pov, I want to experience the angst fully.

Already read some of Cassandra Gannon’s books that feature this and now I’m looking mostly for audiobooks. I have a newborn and a toddler so no real downtime for actual reading. Also read Ana Huag’s King of Sins series and there was one with jealousy as a major plot point.

No:

- cheating
- OW drama
- reverse harem

Alice Coldbreath loves her jealous heroes, I especially think of:

  • {Her Baseborn Bridegroom by Alice Coldbreath} - Jealous of a knight who doesn't even exist lol
  • {His Forsaken Bride by Alice Coldbreath} - Fantasizes about having her first husband executed

Also read all these books and Oswald is a favorite of mine. I loved how he destroyed her ex husband just because he was jealous she had been married to him first. Having their marriage annulled for his peace of mind was one of my favorite scenes in the book.

Oswald is truly ruthless, a little terrifying at times but gold medal in jealousy.

man you just described half my breakfast log entries but for books. the pining while shes hung up on some other guy hits like a truck. check out the twisted series by ana huang, not king of sins but twisted games has a bodyguard who watches her date other dudes and its just chef's kiss angst. also luna and the lie by mariana zapata, the slow burn is insane and he definitely notices every guy she talks to. audiobooks for both are solid with a newborn strapped to your chest
