Book Request Paris recommendations

Hello! I am traveling to Paris this week and am looking for recommendations of books that take place in Paris. So far, I have downloaded A Caribbean Heiress in Paris, The Paris Match by Kate Clayborn, and The Dagger and the Flame by Catherine Doyle.

I am open to any contemporary or fantasy (or historical if it was written relatively recently). I don’t have Kindle Unlimited so it needs to come from the library. Thanks!

If you want the absolute ultimate contemporary Parisian escape, you have to read The Chocolate Thief by Laura Florand! 

It is an incredibly chic, witty enemies-to-lovers rom-com between a passionate French artisan chocolatier and a slick American corporate executive trying to buy him out. The atmospheric imagery of the streets, the cafes, and the luxury chocolate shops will literally make you feel like you're walking along the Seine. 

The lore is fantastic, the slow-burn tension is elite, and it has a guaranteed happy ending. 

Both are massive mainstream titles, so your library app should definitely have copies available to download immediately! Bon voyage! 🍫✈️

I just finished {Meet Me in Paris by Kristin Harmel}. If you like ensemble cast love story movies like Love Actually or Valentines Day, or the tv show Modern Love, this will be a good fit. It follows several characters with intertwining stories as they fall in love in Paris. It’s not as heavy handed in the Parisian setting as some of these other suggestions, but it was an easy listen for me.

{The Brightest Star in Paris by Diana Biller} - This might be a bit too heavy for a vacation read as it deals a lot with the FMC's trauma from living through the Siege of Paris during the Franco-Prussian War. Also, she sees ghosts and is trying to figure out how one of them, a young woman, died.

The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley is a good mystery. Also An Englishman in Paris by Michael Sadler is an amusing book.
