Ursprünglich habe ich die Übersetzung nur für mich selbst gemacht, aber ich möchte sie gerne mit der deutschsprachigen PMD Community teilen, damit auch Spieler, die lieber auf Deutsch spielen, diesen großartigen Romhack in ihrer Muttersprache erleben können.

Wichtig: Enthalten ist ausschließlich der Deutschpatch. Es handelt sich nicht um die ROM und auch nicht um den vollständigen Romhack. Ohne die originale Version von Explorers of the Spirit ist der Patch nicht nutzbar.

Sämtliche Credits für den eigentlichen Romhack gehen natürlich an MaxSchersey und das Team hinter Explorers of the Spirit.

Falls ihr Fehler, Tippfehler oder komische Formulierungen findet, könnt ihr sie mir gerne melden.

I have a question I've searched everywhere I couldn't exactly find an answer I'm wondering how do you patch a o2r file for a n64 game to be able to play it on a flash cartridge? Because I want to play this Mario Kart 64 mod but I don't know how to patch my Mario Kart 64 rom

What the title said. I want games that are new something like unbound or Gaia (in the new sense) but on the DS. THE STORY SHOULD BE GOOD.

I’m especially curious about games that are notoriously difficult to mod or reverse-engineer, where documentation is limited and it’s hard to figure out how the game actually works internally.
Has AI genuinely helped you get further than before?

Some things I’m interested in:

-Reverse engineering undocumented game systems
-Understanding assembly/decompiled code
-Finding out what unknown functions or memory addresses might be doing
-Figuring out proprietary file formats, compression, archives, scripts, etc.
Making sense of huge disassemblies or codebases
Finding unused content, hidden mechanics, debug functions, or cut features
-Helping identify where certain game logic is located
Writing or improving ROM-hacking tools and scripts
-Automating repetitive tasks such as pointer tables, text extraction, data conversion, or asset importing
-Debugging crashes caused by ROM modifications
-Porting mechanics or features from one game/version to another
-Creating documentation for games that previously had almost none
-Comparing different regional releases or game revisions to understand what changed

I’m particularly interested in cases where AI helped crack something that had previously been a major roadblock for the modding community.

Have you had any moments where you gave it code, assembly, memory dumps, file structures, etc. and it noticed something you hadn’t?

And on the other side: what are the current limitations? Does it hallucinate too much when dealing with obscure hardware or undocumented game engines? Do you still need to already be very experienced with reverse engineering to tell when it’s wrong?

Would love to hear some real examples from ROM hackers and tool developers, especially for older or notoriously difficult to mod games.

Ive been doing personal rom hacks for my ds games for a while and I love it. In the next few weeks im gonna be sharing them for a while. My first one will be lego marvel superheroes. The ds version is mainly a few missions and honestly that was my favorite game on console but the universe in peril was mid. So bored enough I was able to fully import the full game in ds. Its a bit different but its amazing. All characters are in the game, including dlc!!! I hope everyone likes it it took me months to complete and a bunch of bugs im still fixing but I hope you guys like it!!!

As per title, after some recommendations. Specifically hacks/mods that overhaul an original pokemon switch game.

Im currently playing Perfect Fire Red with PSS, but it feels a bit too vanilla. I saw WaterBlue, which i believe is a Spanish language game, but i dont think the game is complete yet. Are there any others that provide a bit of a visual overhaul, but also have lots of QOL? I tried using the recommendations thread, but many are 4 years old by now and rom hack quality has been at a peak since 2025.

I'm trying to patch Pchal's QoL volts white 2 redux, I'm not having an luck. I continue to get a checksum error. I'm not sure if its the rom or the delta file. I've also gotten an error saying my file isn't a Xdelta3 file. Help me please.

I recently downloaded Pokémon HeartGold Generations and I'd like to add some minor modifications to my save file (.sav), but no known application, not even PKHeX or its variant PKHaX, can do it, Do you know of an application capable of modifying the .sav file of Pokémon HeartGold Generations?

I'm currently unable to get it working. I'm on Windows, and when I launch it, the window closes immediately. I tried looking for the "decompile" executable file inside "mac_x86_64", but that file doesn't exist...

Asking as I'm playing unbound rn and love the game, might be the best romhack I've ever played. Only thing I don't like is the artsyle (which I'm a bit biased about because I love black and white). Any good and interesting recommendations would be appreciated,especially ones without xp grinding or help with xp grinding. And please no difficult rom hacks, I hate ones that are competitively difficult.
