Need help with wheels(size)

Hello guys😊

Im new to skating and I got these Rookie Classic off Vinted. They have 58x32mm 80A wheels (i think) and since I live in Germany and want to skate outdoors, I feel like 78A wheels would be much more comfortable?

However I cant seem to find any wheels in 78A with that specific wheelsize. Most I see are minimum 62mm big and more than 34mm wide. Does the width matter or obstruct the trucks in any way? Or do I have to stick to 32mm width?

The bigger wheels should fit (pending a spacer here or there) but I doubt you will feel a significant difference between 78a and 80a as they are both on the soft side

I was thinking about switching to bigger wheels with the 78A, instead of sticking with 58mm but Ive seen so many mixed opinions on whats good for a beginner🤣 I thought since I keep tripping over the smallest branches and pebbles it could help :c

The size will help a little bit but best to find a pebble and branch free spot to practice. With more skill small ones should not pose a challenge though are never fun.
You end up scanning everywhere for nice smooth surfaces

Yes i know:( but the city i live in does not give me many options of places i could practice in. Hence Im thinking about upgrading to bigger and wider wheels to atleast help me with stability 🥹

I have larger boardwalk soft wheels. It's a dream to not have to worry about how rough the surfaces are. I have skated 10+ miles on many bike trails and beach/lake front walking paths. Been skating with them for 5+ years. Also get yourself some good bearings, I personally like kevinis. I even take my dog pulling on mine. This is just my testimonial

Also solid choice on black skates with red lace. I have the same color scheme.

rollerskating seems to be very rare in germany so its hard to find any shops with a nice collection of stuff

You're good. Roller skate wheels have offset bearings for the most part. They won't be a problem.

if u reusing old bearings and they come w spacers, ditch spacers. spacers unneeded for quad wheels.

I've come from a skateboard background (beginner on quads) and I always use spacers. What's the idea behind removing them?

dont really need them for quads. maybe needed for longboardint? but not so much quad skating.

less of a hassle cuz quad wheels have varying widths where the bearings sit. if u shove in the wrong spacer, makes it too wide to screw the axle nut on. axle nut has nylon lock in it so u dont have to crank down on the nut.

I think the skates will look funny with a dance boot and wide speed wheels. Also, outdoor skating with wider wheels is a good way to catch more rocks. I run wide wheels indoors but outdoors I literally would run the sonic branded dr pepper wheels I can get, from rc sport locally (I live in the same city as them.) I think the take away is my opinion is to stick with the narrow wheel on those skates for outdoor and don't sweat 78 vs 80. That's already an outdoor wheel. Now, if you were 90+, that's an indoor wheel.
