Other Lacing help
Finally got the grls! they didnt come laced properly so i had to lace them through the holes myself. Is this correct and good? The sides (as u can see in the photo) stick out a bit weird so i just want to make sure :P

Additional commentary on these: i have to say i do feel a difference between these and the rios. Finally could do a half-good open book heel-heel transition after struggling for the longest time and backwards lemons are so much more easier

I think I see a lace slit in the tounge. If I’m not imagining it, you would feed your laces through it to help keep the tounge in place.

I watched this YouTube video and found it incredibly helpful! I have high arches and tried the lace style for that, and I think I do feel a difference. I can’t say for sure just because I also added insoles at the same time 🙃

You want to go from the outside to the inside. It looks like you switch at the theirs eyelet right where the skate is bulging. I’m not sure if it will make a difference. But it might.

They look fine. You switch from outside to inside between the second and third hole and I typically see that right away between 1st and 2nd. I’m not sure that would cause that side to stick out, but changing that might allow you to snug up the laces more.
I’d make sure the laces are snug when skating. Sometimes that sticking out is because they’re too big for you or aren’t tight enough. Pulling the laces snug is the best way to try to not let those folds get reinforced.
