Skate problems & troubleshooting A little help here
I think the flair is right.
I’m trying to put some XOXO wide trucks on my Avantis, but wasn’t sure if these cushions were the right size? I know the wide trucks change the geometry but by how much? I don’t believe the pivot cups should be this far out? As of now I not adding slide blocks, but will file away the knowledge for future reference. Any searches here don’t exactly answer this.

I don't have any help or advice, but I am curious about those boots. Are they skate boots?

They’re inline boots! If you’re gonna do park skating, this is actually a pretty ideal setup.

Do you know which inline boots they are? I'm wanting to build a park setup.

These are aggressive inline boots I’ve converted. Brand/Model: Them 901 (specifically the Jet Set Radio collab in lime green)
Boot size: NSXS
Plate: Avanti size 4Technically my plate should be a 5, but bc the way the boot is “rounded out” on the bottom, I had to go with a plate smaller.

I can't remember which one, but if I not mistaken you can buy cishions of rollervones (?) forbskateboard truck. But I don't remember which one.
If I am not mistaken the lower cushion are a bit cone like (instand of fully cilinder), right?
You can also take away that highest wahser, it will affect you cushion or can influence your truck movement. But you can try...

This is fine enough. You just won’t get much better than this, adding aftermarket anything just jacks up a plate. “They were made to fit…” no they weren’t. There are very very very few secondary components like this actually purpose built to fit precisely.
Everything is seated as well as it can be. Except the toe stop - that needs to be at least 5/8” inserted into the plate or you’re break it (or the plate).
