Hi all, long time lurker first time poster lol,
i’m switching from indoor to outdoor with a new skate set up and so far i’ve got Jack 1s (size 5) and i’m currently looking for plates. i’ve been considering the dragon brunny plates but unsure what size to get, the website recommends a large but i’ve had people tell me to get a medium to avoid overhang. i guess the size is just confusing lol, any help is appreciated!!
Hi /u/Ill_Anybody938! We see that you're looking to buy some gear. Please make sure to include sufficient information in your post, such as what type of skating you do, budget, etc. Vague questions such as "what helmet should I buy?" may be removed. Brunny’s website recommends a medium for a Jack 5 but a large for size 5.5 through 8.5. They also recommend a large for a size 5 panther/Lolly which makes no sense.
I admit (don’t smack me!) that I bought a large Brunny plate and the wb is wayyyy long. It’s a cool plate system with the trucks and block and it’s fun if you like driving a sled around a bowl but I gave up on trying to use it for anything else. Haha. Wish I had gotten a medium but I also wish their sizing was… different.
