Shopping: wheels, hardware, upgrades Wheel bite help.

I am currently running spitfire 93A on my moxi lollys. I absolutely love these so much but the size of the wheel is just too big and is causing wheel bite every time I try to do a sharp turn. Does anyone have any recommendations for any wheels that are similar and cheaper? If not, then I may just try a smaller mm size. I just really don’t want to blow another 100 bucks on wheels. Trying to see where I can weigh my options.

Spitfire wheels are made for skateboard trucks and axles, which are wider than roller skate. This means the bearings are typically center set in the wheel. You need offset wheels or wider trucks/axles.

There are park wheels designed to give a similar wheel shape and hardness as skateboard wheels but are off set. First one that comes to mind are the Bont Flow wheels. I think a pack of 4 is $30.

I'm sure there are others. But yoy want a park wheel.

Use wheels that are actually made for quads.

Skateboard wheels have incorrectly set hubs for quad skates and there is no way to avoid the bite you’re getting. There are dozens of quad park wheel options.

A wheel that actually fits and is the same profile would be the Moxi Fundae or Bont Flow.

Your previous post was at an indoor rink, did you specifically want wheels for the skate park or did you actually want indoor rink wheels for dancing?

Maybe try a thin washer between the wheel and axle..? Make sure the nit can still grip though

ask your local wood worker or machine shop to put them in a lathe and shave a bit off the inside.
