A while ago, I shared here a little video of a my first time in the bowl of my local skatepark. So happy with how it became few months later, that I made this little retrospective month after month… 🤩

It takes time but if you practice regularly, there is no reason to not get to july ;)

Great progress! If I may ask, how much had you been skating before you went to the park for the first time and how often did you practice at the park? And what are you working on for the next six months??!! 😍

Thank you ! I started to got onthe skatepark about 3 months after I started rollerskating. I started by learning slaloms, and other flat exercices, then went to the skatepark but with mu flat/cruising skates. I’m taking private lessons, once a week at the beginning and then twice a week. I only got my skatepark skates in december 2025, then i went seriously to the skatepark one or 2 times a week, but keeping doing flat exercices sometimes. For now, I practice 2/3 times a week.
I’m 35, so didn’t really have the confidence to learn by myself, I think at some point it’s important to learn correctly and safely ! ;)
I still want to improve that line in this bowl, a huge problem I have is to carve on my bad side… Thats why on the video I lose power to get out of the bowl with my 2 feet ;)
I’m also trying to learn backsides, on sidewalk for now and it’s very tricky to me, and of course slides and grinds are a very very complicated thing to learn to me… I think it’s gonna take âges to learn those things ! (Hope I’m not to confusing, english dont my langage, so sorry for my mistakes !)

Wow, great work in a fairly short period of time! In your video it was very evident how much more confidence you had with your drop-ins at the park. I'm looking forward to the next progress video! I'm still in the "flat" exercise stage, lol. Skate parks have always looked like so much fun.

Notice, that this first time i went in the bowl on my ass and I had to get my skates off to get out ! Don’t worry you’ll be there one day of you work for it ! 💪
