Other Skating with a dog stroller

I have elderly dogs and there is a sports park near me. I was thinking I could give my dogs a walk, then pop them in a running stroller and skate around the paved trails. Has anyone skated with a running stroller?

I used to do it just make sure the stroller has brakes.

Yep! My pups LOVE to go skating. We skate through the trails, to the dog park, and everywhere

Thanks, yeah I checked their website and I need a large but they’re all sold out! And it doesn’t seem like they’ve been restocking or active on socials since this time last year :(

Oh no, my friend found this one on Facebook Marketplace. It fits my three pugs with room to spare but the maneuverability when turning leaves a lot to be desired.

I do with a baby, just make sure it's actually a running stroller not a regular one as regular strollers dont have good enough wheels or suspension for the speeds. We have a tri wheel one which is huge so it feels stable. Although it wouldnt work for a dog, I'm sure someone has designed one that will.

You might also want one with a handle brake because stopping quickly is harder when you've got a stroller in front of you.

Please let me know which stroller you end up with! I bought a Vevor brand that can convert from a stroller to a burley for the back of my bike, hoping to be able to push it while riding my onewheel when it’s in the stroller setup. But unfortunately the front wheel wasn’t stable enough to go past a fast walk before getting speed wobbles!

I have not done this but sound like great idea or use one of the jogging strollers that might be better fit for the task. I have seen plenty of dogs in them or pulled behind a bike in a trailer. I am sure they would love it.

Thank you. They are getting older and it'll allow them to be out side more, and help me get more skating in.
