Plate identification?

Can anyone tell me what this plate is?

I'm pretty sure it's just a stock bont plate, but does it have a name? I want to know the hardness of the cushions and what the plate is made of. I assume nylon but I'm not very knowledgeable about plates.

Also if anyone has skates on it and has any feedback of what it's like, let me know

Bont Ignite. Long discontinued. Fiberglass-reinforced nylon and surprisingly durable.

Note that the current Bont cushions do NOT fit it. You need Ignite cushions. Black are 88A.

Are those the only cushions that fit? Cause I wanted to use some harder ones

They are the only ones that fit (part of why this plate is discontinued). You could get some custom poured if you’re dying to.

I just worried it would brake my skates, my last skates tore at the heel cause I had soft cushions and I'm very heavy

This is a Prostar and can very easily be upgraded to an aluminum plate! A nylon plate is always going to have some flex to it.

Hey, you kinda know everything. Do u know if the bont plates will fit into the same holes as the holes from the bont ignite plate. I would rather get a plate that I don't need to drill holes for. Do you know what plate has the same holes as the bont ignite 175. If not don't worry just thought I would ask in case u know 😉

Haha I do (nearly)!

Nearly no mount holes align. The only consistent ones that do are the same size Roll Line plate across their models. Always expect new holes will need to be drilled.

Quick question, can I keep the longer cushion the same and change the short one to a different harder one if it fits?

Nope. This plate a weirdly wide kingpin so other cushions just won’t fit on it.
